About the Business
Situated 100 yards just off the seafront, the Ashborne Guest House is ideally located for Sunderland and all of the North East's many attractions. We have leaflets and information about all kinds of activities and would be happy to help you decide on what you would most enjoy. The National Glass Centre is also very nearby and offers educational and informative entertainment for all ages.
You can see glass go through the various stages of the manufacturing process and admire some of the best glass exhibits in the world. We are close to St. Peter's Church, which is of international historical interest and was the home of the Venerable Bede right back in 674 AD.
