About the Business
Built in 1852, Ashleigh House Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful Victorian villa of enormous character and charm uniquely situated in a quiet residential part of Torquay yet just a five minute walk from the Harbour and shops. Our Guest House is located in Meadfoot Lane which is restricted to Residents and guests only making it virtually traffic free and guaranteeing peace and quiet. Despite its quiet location everything that Torquay has to offer is within easy walking distance including Torre Abbey Sands, Meadfoot Beach and the vibrant harbourside area. Many guests choose to have a holiday from driving as the shops, beaches, restaurants, cafe bars, tourist attractions and Theatres are all close at hand. Indeed, four of Torquays best restaurants are within a ten minute walk away. Public transport is close at hand for travel throughout Torquay, Torbay and South Devon. We are one of the few dog friendly b&b's in Torquay.
