About the Business
The Hawksmoor Windermere guest house & bed and breakfast is situated a mere 15min stroll from the shores of lake Windermere and is a 10 minute stroll to the shops, bars and restaurants in both the villages of Windermere and Bowness. From Bowness you can board a number of different styled boats.
If you are adventurous you can hire either motorised or paddle boats in which to cruise the lake on your own or should you wish to relax and unwind then why not join Windermere Lake Cruises for a trip to Lakeside where the Aquarium of the lakes and the Steam Train railway can be found, or simply cruise to the village of Ambleside where you can enjoy a relaxing day out.
Should you prefer sightseeing on foot then there is no better place to be than in the English Lake District. Many short or long walks are available right from the door of the Hawksmoor Windermere guesthouse & bed and breakfast and we would be glad to recommend walks where possible.
