Our Silver Award 4 star B&B is a homely Victorian townhouse, situated near to Keswick town centre, just a stone´s throw from Fitz Park and a short stroll to Derwentwater. Our rooms are cosy and functional, warm and comfortable.

Our hearty breakfasts will more than set you up for the day and we pride ourselves on our hospitality and friendly welcome, in pleasurable surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere.

Whatever your reason for visiting Keswick: be it walking, rambling, running or cycling…a chance to ‘’chill out & relax” or an opportunity for a challenge, Keswick offers it all in abundance! With so much to see and do, Keswick really is the ‘playground’ of the Lake District.

You will be able to relax and unwind in one of our individually decorated bedrooms complete with en-suite or private facilities. Our comfy rooms are decorated in a modern style and tastefully furnished with good quality fixtures and fittings. A very big emphasis is placed on high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

All rooms offer digital flat screen colour TVs, alarms and hospitality trays, complete with locally made biscuits. We also provide hairdryers, complimentary toiletries and welcome folders providing local information. An iron and board are available to borrow during your stay and on the rare occasion it rains, we can dry your waterproofs and boots in our drying room ready for you next day’s adventures!

We offer a mixture of rooms consisting of double en-suites, a triple en-suite room, (tariff dependant on number of occupants) and one standard twin room with its own private bathroom, containing a bath for those guests who prefer a long hot soak after a hectic day’s activities.

Most rooms face west and enjoy a sunny outlook from midday to late evening. Rooms at the back have views of Latrigg and beyond. There are various views of Skiddaw and Walla Cragg from several rooms occupying the top floors. As Leonard’s Field House is located in one of the quieter streets, there is less noise pollution in terms of traffic/pedestrians than those properties located on the busier thoroughfares, whilst still enjoying the benefit of being a short level stroll from the hustle and bustle of central Keswick.
