About the Business
Not geared up as a 'one night stop', our aim is to provide a peaceful, laid-back and comfortable haven to relax, unwind and refresh. We are located in a quiet spot with glorious views, yet only a few minutes walk from Lostwithiel's old town centre and riverside walks.
Back in 1981 we welcomed our first paying guest, a young engineer working on the construction of a new dam; He was told, "make yourself at home and help yourself to a cup of tea at any time".
Back in those days, there was only one bathroom and Wi-Fi wasn't even heard of but you will be pleased to know that we have, over the years, modernised our rooms and facilities to meet the ever higher expectations of our visitors and at the same time keeping our prices in the 'Very Affordable' range.
