The Gate House is a privately run guest house, adjacent to The Forest Gate Inn. It is situated on the edge of Epping Forest on Bell Common, just over ½ mile to Epping town centre and 1 mile from Epping Station [40 minutes to central London]. It is ideally situated for walkers with facilities to dry wet gear, and well centred for visiting Cambridge, Audley End and other places of interest. The house is totally No Smoking as well as having a full fire alarm system in place. As well as a breakfast room there is a sitting room for the use of guests, with books, board games and information on the area. The bedrooms are all decorated and furnished to a high standard all with en-suite facilities and flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities.
