Set in the beautiful and peaceful Lorton Vale, The Old Vicarage B&B enjoys sensational views of the surrounding fells such as Grasmoor, Grisedale Pike, Whinlatter, and is close to the lakes of Buttermere, Crummock Water and Loweswater. Our bed and breakfast is an ideal base for those looking to explore the Western Lake District, or complete Wainwright's Western Fell walks. This is the unspoilt Lake District, so loved by William Wordsworth, where you can enjoy a short break all year round.
This elegant country guest house is surrounded by fields and set in over an acre of lovely wooded gardens. It lies in the charming village of Lorton, close to the historic Georgian town of Cockermouth, and not far from Keswick.
